You'll Never Guess What...!

My head canon…

It’s coming up to the anniversary since the Sadie Hawkins dance that Blaine was beaten up at or the day that he first transfered to Dalton and he’s talking to Kurt about how much his life has changed since then and since meeting Kurt, que Cough Syrup.

Then later in the episode the New Directions are all in the choir room rehearsing when suddenly Figgins appears with a police officer and they ask to speak to Blaine. Kurt of course freaks out and insists on being with Blaine and neither Figgins or the officer object, saying that it might actually be good for Blaine to have some support. They go to Figgins office and are informed that Karofsky is in hospital after being brutally beaten up by bullies at his school after Nick (the guy from Breadsticks in Heart) outed him to everyone. The thing is, Nick and the other bullies are the exact same guys who beat Blaine up because Karofsky (unknowingly) transfered to Blaine’s old school. Blaine is asked if he will stand in court to give his story about what happened to him on the night of the Sadie Hawkins dance as it will help Karofsky’s case.

Blaine is completely terrified. The thought of having to see his old tormenters never mind actually standing up against them in a court room is making him feel sick to his stomach. Other than Kurt, no one seems to understand just how scared and worried he is.

No one except for his older brother Cooper who Kurt frantically calls one night after holding Blaine as he cried himself to sleep with fear and worry. Cooper is a lawyer and informs Kurt that he will book a flight out to Lima immediately to take on Karofsky’s case and to fully support his baby brother Blaine.
